I truly do not think we would have been able to get through another pregnancy and return to work without the amazing counselling sessions from The Bodie Hodges Foundation.
Experiencing the death of a sibling means losing someone who is a part of who they are. Someone with whom they have shared memories, stories, and experiences.
This funding will enable The Bodie Hodges Foundation to pilot a 12 month Bereavement Educator role which will work with schools to support children and young people as they grieve.
Grief education is now being introduced into the school curriculum in England. This long-overdue update gives teachers the tools and confidence to talk openly about grief.
