Smallman & Son Ltd is proud to have worked with the Bodie Hodges Foundation for a number of years. We have supported a variety of their projects including Bodie’s With Love Project and Bodie’s Treasured Memory Bags. We have also worked together to host events at their boathouse to raise awareness of their inspirational work; something that is very close to our hearts as a family business.

I believe the way in which Nick and Donna have taken the tragic loss of Bodie and focused their energies on helping others in similar circumstances is truly inspirational. At WJ we pride ourselves on being a family business with a commitment to thinking about the communities in which we operate. For the foundation to grow from an idea born out of tragedy requires commitment and dedication that few people would be able to give. Nick and Donna have dedicated the memory of their son to helping others not just in the locality but nationally and WJ are proud to have been just a small part of their story

Following an introduction to the Bodie Hodges Foundation at one of the sports dinners we were keen to find out more about how we could help. Through personal experience we appreciate the importance of organ donation and how being better informed about the process can transform and save lives and provide some solace to those who’ve lost loved ones. It is an honour to be able to support the organ donation programme with a clever link to our business and the industry we work in as organ donation is the ultimate form of recycling.
